The Fläpps shelf is wall-mounted and almost disappears, whilst offering very real storage. This example adopts a vertical and narrow format, which slips into a hallway, between two doors or into a bedroom corner that nothing else would occupy. The birch plywood structure remains slender, held by stainless steel elements.

The Watercolor Stripes motif, designed by Kind of Style, is applied to a coloured HPL coating. The stripes play on the transparencies and overflows characteristic of watercolour, and give the shelf a graphic role: it stores, but it also decorates the wall space it occupies. The smooth surfaces are cleaned with a wipe of a sponge, which makes it as credible in an entrance hall as in a child's bedroom.

Despite its lightness, it accepts a serious load and accommodates books, plants, everyday objects or small storage items without difficulty. A piece to be considered alone, or repeated to compose an ensemble punctuated by the motifs.
