Bedroom Rugs

More than 200 bedroom rugs in small sizes, up to 120x180 cm, in wool or cotton, by Edito, myfelt, Lorena Canals, Colortherapis or Ferm Living.

In a bedroom, a rug is judged first with bare feet: it is what you touch when you get up. The small sizes gathered here go beside the bed, at the foot of the bed or in front of a chest of drawers.

Where to place a rug in a bedroom?

As a bedside rug, a rug of around 60x90 or 70x140 cm on each side is enough. At the foot of the bed, a size up to 120x180 cm creates an area for getting dressed. To slide a single large rug under the bed, you need to move up to 170x240 cm and larger, which you will find among the full range of rugs.

Wool or washable cotton

Wool is the most common material: soft, warm and quiet. Cotton, often machine washable, is practical in a child's bedroom or for people with allergies. Grey, beige and brown tones dominate, with a few greens and blues.

Frequently asked questions

What size for a bedside rug?

A 60x90 cm rug suits a single bed or a small bedroom. With a double bed, a 70x140 cm rug on each side meets your first steps along the whole length.

Which rug for a child's bedroom?

Choose a machine-washable cotton rug, without a long pile, that is easy to care for. A size up to 120x180 cm leaves a proper play area on the floor.

Is a wool rug suitable for people with allergies?

Wool holds dust on the surface instead of leaving it in the air, provided the rug is vacuumed every week. For a dust mite allergy, a cotton rug washable at 30 or 40 °C remains the simplest choice.
