The Fläpps 60x40-1 shelf by AMBIVALENZ plays the understated card. A single level, a vertical format taller than it is wide, and a shallow depth that allows it to slip into constrained spaces: a corridor, a bedroom corner, an entrance, the wall above a desk.
The structure combines birch plywood covered with coloured HPL and stainless steel. The HPL provides a smooth and even surface, easy to maintain, while the steel ensures the stability of the whole. The white finish allows light to circulate and blends into a light-coloured wall, leaving only the line of the shelf and the thickness of the panel visible.
Despite its lightness, the shelf accepts a comfortable load: books, objects, plants or crockery find their place there. Alone, it is enough to enliven a bare partition; repeated at several heights or combined with other modules from the Fläpps family, it composes a graphic and modular wall storage.
