The Fläpps shelf is reduced to the essential: a birch plywood board, a coloured HPL coating and a stainless steel fitting. This vertical format, taller than it is wide, fits just as well in a narrow entrance as above a desk or in a corridor. The depth remains measured, enough to accommodate books, frames or a few everyday objects without cluttering the room.
The Snowdreamer finish is signed by Monika Strigel. The printed pattern covers the surface and transforms the shelf into a graphic element in its own right, visible even when empty. The plywood retains its rigidity and the laminate coating protects the design from marks of use, which suits lived-in spaces.
The stainless steel structure ensures the stability of the whole and supports a serious load for a piece of furniture of this size. Several modules from the Fläpps family can be combined on the same wall, in alignment or in free composition, to build storage tailored to the room.
