The Fläpps shelf is wall-mounted and adopts a narrow vertical format, taller than it is wide, which finds its place in a hallway, beside a door or between two openings. Its shallow depth makes it discreet while leaving enough space for books, everyday objects or small storage items. Despite its lightness, it accepts a serious load.
The construction combines birch plywood clad in coloured HPL with stainless steel elements. This cladding carries the Snowdreamer motif imagined by Monika Strigel, which transforms the visible face into a graphic surface rather than a simple support. The shelf then reads as much as a decorative wall element as a storage unit.
Several units can be combined on the same wall section to compose a rhythmic arrangement, aligned or offset. The slenderness of the panel and the sobriety of the fixing keep the composition light, even in small rooms where the floor must remain clear.
