The Fläpps shelf by AMBIVALENZ is fixed to the wall in a narrow vertical format, taller than it is wide. Its structure in birch plywood coated with coloured HPL gives it a smooth and clean surface, held by stainless steel elements. The whole remains light without sacrificing solidity, with a generous load capacity for storage of this size.

The Snowdreamer motif is signed by Monika Strigel. It transforms the panel into a wall picture in its own right, the shelf serving as much for storage as for decoration. Placed alone above a desk or in a hallway, it occupies a modest section of wall. Repeated or combined with other formats from the Fläpps family, it composes free rhythms on a larger surface.

The shallow depth is suitable for books, small objects and plants, in a child's bedroom as well as in a corridor. It is a simple answer to walls that are difficult to furnish, where a floor-standing piece of furniture would take up too much space.
