The Fläpps shoe rack by AMBIVALENZ follows the collection's principle: a wall panel that unfolds when needed and disappears when no longer in use. Folded down, it barely protrudes from the wall. Open, it reveals an angled shelf that holds shoes by the sole, without unnecessary frame or edge.
The structure is made of birch plywood covered with coloured HPL, in a uniform matt black finish. The stainless steel hinges ensure movement and stability in the open position. The vertical format, taller than it is wide, suits narrow entrances, corridors and passageways where the floor must remain clear.
Several units can be stacked or aligned to create wall storage at the desired height. Fixing is done directly to the wall, with no floor base, which makes cleaning easier and visually lightens the whole.
