The Fläpps secretary by AMBIVALENZ fixes to the wall and unfolds only when you need it. Closed, it occupies barely a few centimetres and reads like a panel hung on the wall. Open, it frees up a work surface sufficient for a laptop, a notebook and a cup, without taking up a single square metre of floor space.
The construction relies on birch plywood coated with coloured HPL, combined with stainless steel hinges. The whole remains light whilst supporting a serious load once folded down. The Watercolor Stripes motif, signed by Kind of Style, covers the façade with watercoloured bands that transform the closed piece of furniture into a graphic element in its own right.
This format suits small flats, guest rooms, slightly wide corridors and all interiors where a permanent desk would be too much. It pairs with the other pieces in the Fläpps family, shelves and panels, which can be composed freely on the same wall.
