The Fläpps secretary by AMBIVALENZ mounts on the wall and opens only when you need it. Folded down, it occupies just a few centimetres of depth and reads like a graphic panel hung on the wall. Open, it reveals a stable work surface, supported by stainless steel hinges that hold the flap in place.
The construction is based on birch plywood coated with coloured HPL, a resilient material that withstands the daily use of a writing desk or computer corner. The Vallunaraju mountain, designed by Joe Mania, brings a colourful motif that remains visible even when the secretary is closed. The object then functions as much as furniture as a wall element.
This format suits small spaces, entryways, bedrooms and shared offices where every square metre counts. Its load capacity accommodates a laptop, books and the usual accessories of a work surface. Mounting is done directly on the wall, at the height that suits you.
