TV unit in chrome steel and lacquered walnut 162x38x42cm Alima NDS4 - &tradition

The Alima system imagined by Note Design Studio for &Tradition rests on a chromed steel structure of great finesse. The lacquered walnut tops, veneered and edged with solid wood, sit there without visual overload. The design remains graphic, almost drawn in line, and lets the materials express themselves.

This low and wide version can be installed just as easily beneath a window as along a living room wall, as a gentle separation of a space or at the foot of a bed. Its contained height makes it a natural auxiliary surface for a lamp, a few objects or books laid flat, whilst the lower levels accommodate everyday storage.

The contrast between the light metal and the warmth of the walnut gives the whole a calm presence, which harmonises with contemporary interiors as well as with more classical rooms. The care devoted to the solid wood edges is noticed in use, over the years.
