The Alima NDS3 side table by &Tradition comes down to two gestures: a fine, reflective chromed steel base, and a lacquered walnut top resting in balance. Designed by Note Design Studio, it plays on the contrast between the lightness of the metal and the density of the wood, without adding anything superfluous.
The circular top, in solid wood and veneer, displays a warm tone that the lacquer protects and evens out. Its height naturally places it next to an armchair or a sofa, within reach for a glass, a lamp or a few books. Its compact format also allows it to slip into an entrance or beside a bed.
Designed for interiors, Alima fits just as well into a contemporary living room as into a more classic space, where the chrome brings a graphic note. It pairs readily with the other pieces in the Alima family, in composition or alone.
