The Cori vase by Broste Copenhagen plays with a generous volume, slightly wider than it is deep, which gives it an immediate presence when placed alone on a console or coffee table. Its full silhouette is self-sufficient, with no applied decoration or ornament.
The ceramic receives a reactive glaze, a firing that varies the colour and texture from one piece to another. The Antique Green finish draws deep nuances, denser and lighter zones, with runs that follow the curve of the vase. Each piece thus carries its own variations.
Its weight and amplitude make it an object that holds the floor and accepts tall branches or long dried stems. It also works empty, as a piece of ceramics in its own right, in a sober interior where the colour brings the contrast.
