Transparent glass vase 22x25cm Milla - Broste Copenhagen

The Milla vase by Broste Copenhagen plays the transparency card. Mouth-blown, its clear glass allows light to pass through and reveals the immersed stems as much as the bouquet itself. Each piece bears the variations inherent to manual work, slight irregularities in thickness or curve that ensure no specimen is entirely identical to another.

Its broad and generous silhouette calls for ample compositions, branches, dried flowers or seasonal bunches. Placed alone on a coffee table or a console, it holds the role of decorative object in its own right, even empty. The colourless glass slips effortlessly into a light interior as well as into a darker room, where it captures surrounding reflections.

True to the spirit of the Danish house, Milla relies on a simple form and an honest material rather than on ornament. It lends itself equally to everyday use as to a more elaborate staging, in a duo or in series with other volumes from the collection.
