Designed by Verner Panton, the Flowerpot VP2 stacks two steel hemispheres whose edges face one another. This simple gesture, born in the late 1960s, remains instantly recognisable. In its largest version, the pendant light takes on a frank presence and diffuses a light directed downwards, shielded from view by the lower bowl.
The Swim Blue finish dresses the steel in a deep hue that plays with the reflections of the surface. The textile cord extends the volume without weighing it down and suits contemporary interiors as well as more classic rooms. Suspended above a dining table or a kitchen island, it structures the space; installed in series, it punctuates a corridor or a counter.
The fitting accepts an E27 bulb, left to choice depending on the desired intensity and colour temperature. Designed for indoor use, the Flowerpot VP2 remains faithful to its author's spirit: a clean geometric form, without ornament, that crosses the decades without losing its precision.
