Designed by Verner Panton, the Flowerpot VP2 pendant light is based on a simple idea: two hemispheres facing each other. The larger caps the smaller, which reflects the light downwards and hides the source from view. This Ø50 cm version is the most generous of the family, designed to occupy the space above a table or an island with confidence.
The lampshade in lacquered steel adopts here a Signal Green shade, a vivid green that embraces the pop spirit of the sixties. The textile cord extends the silhouette without weighing it down. The light descends in a soft beam, without glare, which makes the model as suitable above a dining surface as in a staircase or an entrance.
The pendant light accommodates a bulb with an E27 base, to be chosen according to the desired atmosphere. Reserved for indoor use, it can be suspended alone or repeated in a row to illuminate a large length. An &Tradition design piece that suits contemporary settings as well as more classic interiors.
