Pendant light in plum painted steel 50cm Flowerpot VP2 - &tradition

Designed by Verner Panton, the Flowerpot VP2 stacks two steel half-spheres whose edges face each other. This simple gesture, born in the nineteen-sixties, hides the light source and directs the light downwards, in a soft beam without glare. In its largest version, the pendant light takes on a clear presence, generous enough to stand alone above a table.

The Dark Plum finish brings a deep plum shade, matt and muted, which absorbs ambient light rather than reflecting it. It works equally well in contrast against a pale wall as in harmony with dark woods or warm textiles. The textile cord extends the form to the ceiling and contributes to the overall design.

Intended for indoor use, the Flowerpot VP2 takes an E27 bulb that you choose according to the atmosphere you seek. Suspended alone above a kitchen island, aligned in a row along a large table or placed as a low point in a living room, it retains the same graphic clarity.
