Curt is a modular sofa by AMBIVALENZ, composed here of four modules that can be freely assembled. The system relies on aluminium hooks that secure the elements together, without tools or visible screws. Each module can be moved, turned over or removed, allowing the composition to evolve according to rooms and uses.
The structure combines a plywood frame, woven webbing and cold foam that gives the seat firm support. The seat remains low, with a short backrest that keeps the sofa's silhouette compact and its appearance grounded. The Barcelona upholstery in its Lotus shade brings a soft pink, both warm and discreet, which suits a light interior as well as deeper-coloured walls.
This configuration is suitable for a family living room as well as a professional reception area, where the modularity allows the seating to be reconfigured according to occasions. Curt's straight lines and contained volume make it easy to pair with slender coffee tables and large rugs.
