The Curt modular sofa by AMBIVALENZ is composed here of four assembled modules, upholstered in Sera fabric in its Ebony shade. The uniform black emphasises the clean geometry of the seat and the low line of the backrest. The whole reads as a block, without visible legs, placed directly on the floor.
The construction is based on a plywood frame, textile webbing and cold foam padding that gives the seat a consistent firmness. The modules connect to each other via aluminium hooks, a simple system that allows reconfigurations depending on the room or use. The cover fabric, predominantly wool, provides a matt surface and a dense grain.
With its low seat and generous depth, Curt invites relaxed positions and suits both a family living room and a refined waiting area. The modular format makes it an adaptable base that can be rearranged in a line or at an angle as layouts evolve.
