Birdy is a series of table, wall and sol lamps designed in 1952 in a very modern style. The series of lamps was produced and sold by the Norwegian electricity company compagnie Sønnico (Oslo) pendant for many years. In 1954 the table lamp, then known as "s-30016", was awarded the very prestigious gold medal at the Milan triennial.
In 2013, Northern decided to relaunch this classique from design , making sure to keep the original shape and the very functional characteristics that made it such a popular light in the first place.
