Curt is a modular sofa designed by AMBIVALENZ, here composed of four modules upholstered in Jet fabric in grey and beige. The elements are assembled using aluminium hooks, allowing the configuration to be modified according to the room, aligned against a wall or opened towards the centre of a living room.
The construction is based on a plywood frame and polyester and polypropylene straps, filled with cold foam. The seat remains low, in the spirit of contemporary sofas where one sits deep. The Trevira CS polyester cover provides a matt surface that pairs well with both light walls and a darker interior.
The compact silhouette and straight backrest suit spaces where furniture needs to be movable: a flat being rearranged, a reception office, a shared living space. The four modules form a coherent whole, but nothing prevents separating them to create two distinct seating areas.
