Designed by Note Design Studio for &Tradition, the Alima NDS2 side table rests on a chromed steel structure whose fine lines draw an almost graphic volume. The lacquered oak top brings the warmth of wood to this light ensemble, and the mobility of the castors allows it to be moved from one room to another without effort.
Its compact proportions allow it to slip next to a sofa, at the end of a bed or in the corner of a dining room. It serves equally well as a side table or as a support for glasses, books or a lamp. The combination of steel, solid wood and veneer creates a solid object, designed for daily use.
Like the entire Alima family, this model expresses the Swedish studio's taste for simple forms and visible assemblies. Intended for indoor use, the side table harmonises with contemporary furniture as well as with older pieces, without ever occupying all the visual space of a room.
