The Curt module by AMBIVALENZ is based on a simple idea: a square, low seat that can be assembled freely according to the room and its use. Each element combines with the others to form a bench, a corner or an isolated seat, then is reconfigured differently when the interior changes. The geometry remains legible, without superfluous armrest or excess padding.
The construction combines a plywood frame, textile webbing and cold foam that gives the seat its durability over time. The aluminium hooks ensure the connection between the modules and maintain the alignment of the seats. The whole remains light enough to be moved without any particular effort.
The version presented here is upholstered in Sera fabric in the Ebony colourway, a deep black predominantly wool, whose matt grain softens the rigour of the volume. This dark shade works equally well with graphic interiors and warmer rooms, where it serves as a visual anchor.
