The Curt module by AMBIVALENZ forms the basic element of a sofa that one assembles oneself. Its square, low and compact form repeats, aligns or separates according to the room and use. Used alone, it becomes an extra seat or a footrest; combined with its counterparts, it forms a bench or a sofa whose length has no other limit than that of the wall.
The assembly is based on a system of aluminium hooks that secures the modules together, without tools or visible screws. The structure combines a plywood frame, suspension straps and cold foam, for a firm seat that retains its shape over time. The covering in Sera fabric, dominated by wool, brings a matt and slightly grainy texture.
The Gravel colourway introduces a mineral, sober grey that pairs equally well with light woods and raw floors. The low seat height gives the module a grounded appearance, close to the floor, that suits contemporary interiors as well as reception spaces where the configuration often changes.
