Floor lamp in chrome and plum painted steel 122cm Flowerpot VP12 - &tradition

The Flowerpot VP12 floor lamp extends to the floor the design imagined by Verner Panton for the Flowerpot family. Two hemispheres face each other, the smaller one nestling into the larger one, concealing the light source from view. The light is directed downwards, in a clean circle cast on the floor, without dazzling those who pass nearby.

The steel structure rests on a slender foot and a discreet circular base. The Dark Plum colourway gives the silhouette a muted depth, which stands out from light walls without weighing down the room. The textile cord underlines the whole and recalls the domestic character of the object, designed to live near a sofa, at the end of a bench or in the corner of a bedroom.

Intended for indoor use, this floor lamp works with a standard socket bulb, to be chosen according to the desired intensity. Its height positions it halfway between the table lamp and the pendant light, with a beam that illuminates a seat or a coffee table whilst leaving the rest of the room in softer light.
