The Flowerpot VP12 floor lamp extends to the ground the silhouette imagined by Verner Panton for &Tradition: two hemispheres facing each other, one sheltering the other, placed at the top of a slender stem. The light remains contained between the two domes, then diffuses downwards without dazzling. The gesture is simple, immediately recognisable, and it crosses the decades without ageing.
Steel gives the model its structure and fineness of line, while the textile cord underlines the care given to details. The matt white finish softens reflections and lets the form express itself alone. The base adopts a height designed to accompany an armchair, frame a sofa or mark a corner of a room without cluttering it.
Reserved for indoor spaces, the Flowerpot VP12 finds its place in a living room, bedroom or office. It works equally well alone, as a coloured landmark in a sober room, or in echo with the other variations of the Flowerpot family, pendant lights or table lamps.
