The Gio LN28 floor lamp was designed by Luca Nichetto for &Tradition. Its silhouette rests on an Emperador marble base, topped with a dark chrome stem that rises to an ecru white lampshade. The ensemble plays on the contrast between the mineral density of the base and the fineness of the shaft, in a highly legible vertical composition.
With a height of one metre fifty, Gio sits naturally next to an armchair, at the end of a sofa or in the corner of a reception room. The lampshade directs light downwards and creates a defined lit area, useful for reading as well as for placing a warm light point at the end of the day. Aluminium and steel ensure the stability of the whole, whilst the weight of the base guarantees a stable footing.
This model is designed for interior use. It works equally well with contemporary furniture and with older pieces, the veining of the marble bringing a depth that the ecru shade of the lampshade softens.
