The Cori Deco Plate by Broste Copenhagen belongs to the Cori family, a collection of ceramic objects designed to dress a table or console without overloading it. The plate adopts a round, wide and shallow form, with an edge that gently rises. Its silhouette remains simple, almost elemental, and lets the material express itself.
The ceramic receives a reactive glaze, a firing technique that varies the hue and intensity of the surface. The White Cream colourway is thus nuanced from one plate to another, with denser zones, others lighter, and slight irregularities that signal the artisanal part of the process. Each piece presents its own pattern.
Placed alone on a coffee table or combined with other volumes from the same family, this decorative plate holds fruit, keys, candles or nothing at all. Its measured proportions allow it to find its place in an entrance, a dining room or an open kitchen, in a simple Scandinavian register.
