The Cori candle holder by Broste Copenhagen adopts a low, circular form, resting flat on the table. Its reactive glazed ceramic creates a lively surface, with nuances that vary slightly from piece to piece. The White Cream colourway softens the whole and lets the material express itself without added decorative effect.
Its reduced height makes it a discreet object, which accompanies a flame without drawing the gaze in its place. The generous diameter in relation to the height creates a stable base and a clean outline, pleasant to look at from above as well as at eye level.
Cori finds its place at the centre of a dining table, on a console or a shelf, alone or repeated in a small series. The glazed ceramic works equally well with a light, pared-back interior and with warmer materials such as wood or linen.
