The Shelly candleholder by Broste Copenhagen plays on an organic silhouette, slightly wider than it is tall, that sits just as well alone as in pairs. Its sculptural form gives it presence on a table, a console or a mantelpiece, even without a candle.
It is made from ceramic with a reactive glaze, a firing process that creates shades and material variations on the surface. The cream white colour reveals these irregularities, slight differences in tone and shine that make each piece unique.
