An internationally renowned designer and architect, Paola Navone travels the world on countless journeys in a constant search for new encounters and inspiration. She regularly collaborates with fellow architects and designers alike, her many talents extending across numerous fields such as object creation, set design, interior design and furniture design. Her work with Serax sprang directly from her insatiable curiosity: on discovering that, during the Great Depression in 1930s America, tableware pieces were created according to very precise economic criteria (vast quantities at the lowest possible cost), she researched the subject and drew her inspiration from it.

And so the Fish & Fish service was born, a contemporary reinterpretation, full of freshness and poetry, of the legendary original service. This sturdy, stackable tableware is, just as it was back then, made from green pressed glass known as Jadeite.
