Set of 4 transparent green glasses Fish&Fish - Serax

An internationally renowned designer and architect, Paola Navone travels the world on countless journeys, constantly seeking out new encounters and inspiration. She collaborates regularly with fellow architects and designers alike, her many talents spanning a wide range of fields such as object design, set design, interiors and furniture design. Her work with Serax was born directly out of her insatiable curiosity: upon discovering that during the American Great Depression in the 1930s, tableware pieces were produced according to very precise economic criteria (very large quantities, minimal cost), she researched the subject and drew her inspiration from it.

And so this Fish & Fish service came into being, a contemporary reworking of the legendary original service, full of freshness and poetry. This robust, stackable tableware is, just as it was back then, made from green pressed glass known as Jadeite. Both a tribute and a historical nod, this beautiful, meaning-laden collection lets you bring these original pieces to your table, each one imbued with the spirit of Paola Navone, without ever losing sight of the practicality of this tableware with a history quite unlike any other… Continuing the Jadeite pressed glass theme, this large drinking glass fully retains the Fish and Fish spirit with its generous shape. The Cool Republic offers it in two sizes.
