Internationally renowned designer and architect, Paola Navone travels the world on numerous trips in constant search of encounters and inspiration. She regularly collaborates with other architects and designers, her multiple talents extending to many fields such as the creation of objects, scenography, interior and furniture design. Her work with Serax is directly born of her insatiable curiosity: discovering that during the Great American Depression in the 1930s, tableware was created according to very precise economic criteria (very large quantities, lower cost), she researches and is inspired by this subject. Thus was born the Fish & Fish service, a contemporary, fresh and poetically revisited version of the mythical original service, robust and stackable, made of green pressed glass, as it was then, known as Jadéite.
