Internationally renowned designer and architect, Paola Navone travels the world on numerous trips in constant search of encounters and inspiration. She regularly collaborates with other architects and designers, her multiple talents extending to many fields such as the creation of objects, scenography, interior and furniture design. Her work with Serax is directly born of her insatiable curiosity: discovering that during the Great American Depression in the 1930s, tableware was created according to very precise economic criteria (very large quantities, lower cost), she researches and is inspired by this subject. Thus was born the Fish & Fish service, a contemporary, fresh and poetically revisited version of the mythical original service, robust and stackable, made of green pressed glass, as it was then, known as Jadéite. A tribute and historical wink, this collection, aesthetic and impregnated with meaning, allows you to put at your table these original pieces, all charged with the spirit of Paola Navone, without losing for a single moment the functionality of this tableware with a history like no other… This dish takes the shape of the fish and the design of its scales, and declines perfectly the theme of this dinner service.
