White wall light with black base Stemlite - Gubi

Subtle, organic forms together with a soft, diffuse light define the Stemlite wall light – a hidden gem from the Space Age era that now joins the GUBI collection quite naturally. The "total look" lamp by legendary designer Bill Curry was an innovative reimagining of the traditional lamp and captured the zeitgeist of 1960s West Coast America. Inspired by the stems that support flower heads in nature, the Stemlite appears to grow organically out of the wall.

The die-cast aluminium base supports the tulip-shaped steel stem that stretches outwards, then upwards to hold a softly glowing mouth-blown frosted glass globe. A simple rotary dimmer gives intuitive control over the light intensity. Available in black chrome, the Stemlite wall light can be paired with the rest of the modular Stemlite collection, creating an atmosphere that sits beautifully in both modern and traditional interiors.
