The TOTY S vase by Mademoiselle Jo plays on the meeting of two materials. Metal structures the object, whilst the glass in celadon shade brings transparency and colour. Designed by Joan Bebronne, it assumes a sculptural vocabulary: the form is as much to be looked at as it is to hold flowers.
Its compact format, around twenty centimetres tall with a narrow diameter, makes it suited to surfaces where space matters. An entrance console, a mantelpiece, a bookshelf, a corner of a bedside table. The vase stands alone there, without a floral arrangement, or receives a few simple stems that extend its verticality.
Celadon, pale green and slightly grey, pairs with light interiors as well as with more muted atmospheres. Brought together in a small group or combined with other pieces from the collection, several examples compose a landscape of objects on a single surface.
