The TOTY S vase by Mademoiselle Jo is as much a decorative object as it is a small sculpture. Designed by Joan Bebronne, it combines metal and glass in a compact composition that can be viewed from all angles. The Burgundy shade gives the volume a deep presence, which stands out distinctly on a console, a shelf or a coffee table.
Its format remains measured: around twenty centimetres in height with a narrow diameter, enough to install it in a small space without it going unnoticed. It accommodates a few tall stems, a single branch or dried flowers, but works just as well alone, as a visual anchor point in a room.
The meeting of metal and glass plays on the contrast of surfaces, one matt and structuring, the other capable of capturing the ambient light. The vase lends itself to grouping with other pieces of different sizes, to compose a rhythmic ensemble on the same plane.
