The TOTY L vase by Mademoiselle Jo plays on a simple contrast: a sculptural shell with a Concrete Style finish, and the transparency of the glass that holds the water and stems. Designed by Joan Bebronne, it takes on a bold vertical silhouette, set on a compact base that gives it stability.
The combination of metal and glass structures the object. The metal draws the volume and carries the mineral finish, whilst the glass remains discreet and leaves all the space to the flowers. The vase works equally well with a generous composition or with two or three graphic branches, and retains its presence even when empty.
Its height makes it a visible piece on a console, coffee table or sideboard. The concrete grey tone fits in with contemporary interiors as well as with warmer materials, light wood or natural textiles, which it tempers.
