The Pillar Eco candle by Broste Copenhagen plays the card of sobriety. A clean cylinder, without ornament, whose only expression lies in its Wine Berry colour, a deep red tinged with ripe fruit. Placed alone on a table or gathered with several, it brings a touch of dense colour without weighing down the composition.
It is cast in pure stearin, a vegetable material that burns slowly and keeps its form over the hours. Its generous cross-section and measured height give it a stable presence, well seated on a wide candleholder, a tray or directly on a protected surface.
This candle belongs to the Eco family from the Danish house, designed for interiors where everyday objects deserve as much attention as the furniture. It suits equally well a table set at the end of the day as a console or a mantelpiece, as a discreet accompaniment to a set of ceramics or glassware.
