With its Eco pillar candle, Broste Copenhagen returns to the essentials: a clean cylinder, a smooth surface, no ornamentation. The proportion is generous, tall enough to stand alone on a table or console, wide enough to hold a stable flame at the centre of a room.
The wax is pure stearin, a dense material that burns slowly and maintains the pillar's shape over hours. The Wine Berry shade brings a deep hue, close to dark red, that stands out clearly against a light tray or natural wood and takes on another depth as soon as the light fades.
Placed on a flat candle holder or directly on a heat-resistant surface, it works just as well alone as in repetition, lined up on a dining table or grouped by different heights. A simple piece, designed to last several evenings rather than for a single service.
