A rug is ideal for defining a space and, thanks to its colours and shapes, for creating harmony between a room's furniture and accessories. The Kelim rug reinvents traditional kelim craftsmanship and combines it with our aesthetic, characterised by a fondness for geometric shapes. Our Kelim rugs are handwoven, which explains the slight variations in weave from one rug to the next. The weaving technique used is the "Punja" loom, a traditional handloom and one of the oldest of its kind. What's more, the wool is hand-dyed, and slight variations in shade may appear owing to the very nature of the wool and the dye. The Kelim weave and the wool offer a unique, slightly grainy feel, characteristic of traditional Kelim rugs.
