Ferm Living Rugs

The Ferm Living rugs brought together on The Cool Republic form a selection of 34 designs that perfectly illustrate the Danish brand's approach: pared-back shapes, carefully crafted woven patterns and a constant concern for the balance between function and aesthetics. Founded in Copenhagen in 2005, Ferm Living quickly established an instantly recognisable visual vocabulary, in which soft geometry and natural tones sit alongside bolder propositions. To take your exploration further, The Cool Republic's Rugs department brings together other pieces from the most demanding design houses.

Among the collection's most admired pieces is the Kelim kilim rug, available in several sizes and colourways, whose flat weave with geometric motifs draws on the tradition of exposed-weft rugs while remaining thoroughly contemporary. The Ferm Living range also includes round formats, bedside runners and large-scale rugs suited to open-plan living spaces. Materials vary from one design to the next, with wool, cotton and natural fibres each offering distinct textures depending on the intended use. If you would like to broaden your selection, the Wool rugs or the Cotton rugs allow you to refine your choice by material. The brand's chromatic consistency, favouring earthy shades, off-whites and warm greys, makes these pieces easy to integrate into Nordic interiors as well as more eclectic schemes.

Ferm Living rugs are equally at home in the living room, the bedroom or a home working space. They pair naturally with other pieces from the brand: a Ferm Living coffee table placed on a Kelim kilim creates an immediately coherent visual composition, just as the Ferm Living cushions carry the floor-level colour palette up onto the seating.
