Inspired by the symbol of the parenthesis, Achille Castiglioni and Pio Manzù designed this model in 1971. Parentesi is light, economical and dynamic. Flexible and contemporary, yet also timeless as it draws on the collective imagination: the light source is a simple bulb that rotates through 360 degrees.

This is a direct-light lamp whose lighting section can be moved vertically, thanks to a steel tube coated with liquid varnish, along a steel cable stretched between ceiling and floor, length 4000 mm. It features an injection-moulded elastomer head in nickel colour with a switch. Electric cable with a usable length of 4000 mm from the socket.
