Inspired by the symbol of the parenthesis, Achille Castiglioni and Pio Manzù designed this model in 1971. Parentesi is light, economical and dynamic. Flexible and contemporary, but also intemporelle because elle is inspired by the collective imagination: the light source is a simple bulb that rotates 360 degrees.
It's a direct-lighting lamp whose illuminating part can be moved vertically, thanks to a tube in nickel-coated steel, along a steel wire stretched between the ceiling and the sol, length 4000 mm. Elle is made up of a black injection-molded elastomer head. The cable is fitted with an electronic dimmer for step-by-step adjustment of light intensity.
