Designed by Verner Panton, the Flowerpot VP4 is based on a simple principle: two hemispheres facing each other. The larger caps the smaller, directs light downwards and allows it to diffuse gently over the worktop. This geometry, born in the late sixties, remains instantly recognisable.
The Stone Blue finish brings a muted tone, more mineral than decorative, that works equally well with light woods and lacquered surfaces. Steel and aluminium give the lamp its density and clean profile, while the textile cord extends the care devoted to the object down to the smallest detail.
Its compact format allows it to find its place on a bedside table, a desk, a console table or a bookshelf. Designed for indoor use, it works with a standard light source and comes in a family of models with a common vocabulary, making it easy to create compositions with multiple light points.
