Curt rests on a simple idea: a sofa that assembles without tools, module by module. This four-element configuration connects via a system of aluminium hooks, and dismantles as quickly as it assembles. The principle leaves a free hand to adjust the seating shape to the room, then revisit it later without calling anything into question.
The seat is filled with cold foam on a plywood frame, supported by straps. The result is firm, with a low seat height that gives the sofa a grounded silhouette, almost on the floor. The Barcelona fabric cover, here in the Cornhusk colourway, brings a warm yellow that contrasts with the rigour of the design and warms an interior with clean lines.
Signed AMBIVALENZ, Curt addresses those who move, reorganise or work on evolving volumes. It finds its place in a living room as in a reception space, alone or combined with other modules from the same family.
