Birdy is a series of table, wall and floor lamps designed in 1952 in a very modern style. The series of lamps has been produced and sold by the Norwegian electricity company Sønnico (Oslo) for many years. In 1954, the table lamp, then known as "s-30016", was awarded the prestigious gold medal at the Milan.
In 2013, Northern the company decided to revive this design classic, taking care to retain the original shape and highly functional features that made it such a popular light in the first place.
