Composition : Stoneware is produced using a meticulous process that combines durability, beauty and originality. Each piece is fashioned from raw stoneware, moulded and then left to rest before an initial firing at 850 °C. Following a rigorous inspection, a semi-matt glaze is applied, followed by a second, hand-applied glaze, which creates a distinctive beige texture against a white background. The final firing, at between 1230 and 1240 °C, gives the material exceptional strength, making it extremely durable whilst preserving its refined, handcrafted character. Subtle variations in glaze and texture make each piece unique, bringing a touch of originality and warmth to everyday life. Hand-painted in a light, luminous natural beige with a slightly warm undertone, the Birch range reflects the soft hue of fresh wood. Its light, airy presence brings softness and serenity, whilst the variations in brushstrokes lend it a natural depth, ensuring that each piece has a unique and vibrant character.

Care : Born of earth and fire, our earthenware embodies the quiet strength of its craftsmanship: moulded, glazed and fired at high temperatures, it combines durability with individuality. Each piece features subtle variations in colour and texture – delicate marks of craftsmanship that make every item unique. Over time, fine scratches and signs of wear may appear; these are not flaws, but the natural patina of everyday use, which adds depth and character to every shared meal. Designed for modern living, our tableware is both practical and refined. Each piece is dishwasher and microwave safe, but it is best to handle it with care. We recommend avoiding dishwasher cycles above 65 °C and microwave settings above 675 W, as excessive heat can damage the glaze. Sudden changes in temperature, such as immersing hot crockery in cold water, should also be avoided to prevent thermal shock. To protect the rims and surfaces, do not stack the pieces too tightly. The Native teapot, with its delicate wooden handle, should be washed by hand and always kept dry. With simple care and careful handling, your stoneware tableware will remain a timeless companion, preserving the warmth of its craftsmanship, the beauty of imperfection and the evolving stories of the table.
