Mini Sumo organic ceramic vase in coffee - 101 Copenhagen

The Sumo vase by 101 Copenhagen celebrates the human body. In reference to the Japanese sport of Sumo, all the vases are generous in size and shape, resting on narrow, pointed feet. Each vase features a different opening, from traditional narrow openings to double openings and deeply sculpted ones.

The Sumo collection explores the contrast between the familiar shapes of vases and the addition of more artistic and abstract ideas and details, challenging our individual perceptions of what a vase should look like. The Sumo collection is designed as a standalone artistic object which, brought together, forms a united family of pieces.
