Studio Hausen

These modular shelves will allow you to design the modules that best suit your needs and the space you have available. With a focus on clean lines, this talented Berlin-based designer has chosen steel and wood for the Link shelving system, now available from The Cool Republic.

The wood used for the Link shelves comes entirely from sustainably managed forests. Each shelf is unique, just as every tree is. The shelves are not exposed to harsh chemicals such as formaldehyde or other harmful substances. Only natural oils are used for the surface treatment.

You’ll love Studio Hausen’s shelving units. They can be assembled however you like, so you can create a wide variety of arrangements: asymmetrical, stacked high or laid out lengthways. Choose the look you want to achieve for an elegant interior design.

Connected by metal cables, they form a striking ensemble, as if suspended, ready to hold books and objects however you wish. This cleverly designed system is extremely simple to assemble, and you can join several modules together by connecting them via the largest shelf to create a truly stylish look.

Made from oak or ash, in a natural finish or stained black, with black or white steel finishes, they will suit any interior. Choose the trio set for your living room and the single unit for your bedroom

Its designer, Jörg Höltje, is a firm believer in the longevity of objects: it is with this focus on quality and durability in mind that he designed the pieces in the elegant Link range.

Place your favourite books on them to create a lovely indoor bookcase. These wall-mounted shelves are practical and make for easy storage. Display your favourite trinkets and decorations on them for a sleek, stylish look.
