This shelf was poetically conceived in the former ballroom of a Berlin usine and was made in a esprit "made in Berlin". Oak wood and solid steel are combined in this model at design where the simplicity of its materials is just as important as the purity of its lines. Several levels of storage find their place in a clever work of asymmetry. Linked by metal cables, they form an amazing ensemble, as if suspended, ready to receive books and objects according to your desires. The system is cleverly thought out and very easy to assemble. Several modules can be linked together using the plus large shelf for a definitive design result.
Handcrafted in oak - carefully selected and from eco-managed forests - it is therefore rich in its own grain, this difference being an integral part of its design. The wood has not been treated with chemicals such as formaldehyde or other harmful substances, and surface has been treated only with natural oils. A natural patina will gradually enrich it. The designer, Jörg Höltje, believes in the longevity of objects: à la and the other models in the elegant Link range were designed with this quality and durability in mind.
